That is flawless! I've never seen an untouched example before.

Nice looking Legacy, I always liked that generation. A few years back, '10 or so, I bought a nice clean '92 Legacy for my Aunt when her Sunfire died. The Subaru was an original Las Vegas car, and as such was only FWD. It had made its way to Alaska with a returning college student and Subarus in Alaska that aren't AWD are not worth much, everyone there wants the AWD versions. I picked that thing up for $1200, it was near mint, 5 speed, all options, and only 102,000 miles, super clean inside and out and bone stock. I always secretly wished I had picked it up and kept for myself instead! :)

I had a rusty '93 Legacy wagon for a short while. I picked it up for $600 at an auction. It was front wheel drive, and it had a 5-speed. I bought it to teach myself how to drive stick. That was a tough little bastard. Slow as hell, but tough.

It had a little quarter panel rust starting, but other than that, the thing was mint

turned out I kinda-sorta knew the owner, chatted him up about it. Not a car guy, just happened to inherit his grandmother's car.

I have dealt out so much abuse to my car, and yet it's still chugging along. Those cars are super well built

I like a good cheap subaru, and checked out two prospective purchases that the owners were unaware were fwd. "no rear diff... thanks anyway, bye"

It was a little tank. Amazingly, I never managed to get over 25 mpg on the highway, even with the lack of power, but I suspect something was amiss with mine. Somebody previous to me had thrown a bunch of parts at it. It had new tires, plugs, wires, air filter, etc on it. It threw a code for a bad tps sensor, which I replaced, and that helped get my mileage from 23 mpg up to 25 mpg.

Typical late 80's, early 90's car issues.
